We visited Chitradurga,Raichur,Belgaum,Shimoga,Bangalore for state level competition.
As School trip we visited to Dharmastala,Subramanya,Sringeri,Horanadu,Belur,Halebidu,Shravanabelagola,
Harangi Dam,Madikeri.

NCC - National Integration Camp :
In my high school days I have visited Gujarat from NCC ,for National Integration Camp held at Junaghad,Rajkot,Sasan Gir for 15 days.
very sad that i don't have any pics from that NIC camp. because i dont have any camera at that time.
as i remember , We are ten people from karnataka selected for NIC camp.
From my school Me and my frnd Arun are selected.
4 from suttur JSS . 4 from Mysore different schools.
We started our journey from Mysore-Blore-Ahmadabad. we reached Ahmadabad around 8 AM , everybody is hungry we went outside railway station for breakfast.
We all went to one small road side shop and had enough chapatis, the best experience we came across was we had 5 chapatis and 5 times dal so total cost is 35 rs. but initially he told 2 rs for one chapati we didn't asked for dal since we thought its just like chatni in karnataka we can take as many times as you want :)
at that time 35 Rs for breakfast is too much , specially we are out of our hometown.
Then we started our journey towards Junagadh(base camp).
Then to Raajkot then to Sasan Gir all by trekking in the hills and also in the village road.
I haven't remember the names of places which we came accross in trekking.
In Sasan Gir we visited Somanath Temple, a crocodile park and Safari in the GIR forest.
We got a chance to See Asiatic Lions at their own habitat.
While we are going in forest by walk , we have seen one leopard/Cheetah, which jumped from one side of road to another side almost 30-40 feet.
that was really a wonderful experience for me to see leopard in the forest.
Total arround 125 KM of trekking in 7 days. we all returned back to Mysore and reached my home town with lots of trekking experience.
State Level badminton Tournament :
As a part of badminton team I had participated in state level tournament held in Raichur.
We are 5 students in team, Anil,Zulfi from DBGJC Gundlupet. Sharath and Ganesh from Chamarajnagar. another guy from Kollegal I didn't remember his name.
we lost in second round, against Bangalore rural team. But really it was very good experience for all of us especially we learnt how the the state level matches and also the participants.
when we compared with ourselves with city team we are much lesser in terms of physic ,games as well.
The best part of tournament was , the sub juniors singles final match .
Mandya vs Bangalore city.
It ws a terrific match both won set each final set 14 each but finally the guy who represented mandya had won the game.
The guy who was played for Blore had already represented 2 times in nationals but this time he lost the game.
He just fell down in court itself and crying,but spectators had enjoyed the wonderful game.
Then after the tournament we visited to Mantralaya and returned back to Mysore then to Gundlupet.
State Level Hockey tournament @ Bagalkote :
I think when we are in 10th , we have played state level hockey!!!!!
Frankly telling , I have never played hockey before,but directly somehow played in state level since there is no teams in Taluk & Dist level.
First match we played against Bangalore rural , we don't have proper shoes,goal keeper set, even we don't have proper practice so we lost the match. the score was 6-0.
Ajay was our goalkeeper and he wear cricket helmet instead of hockey helmet and saved many goals.
Rural Sports -State Level football :
In my 8th standard i have started playing football, we have bunch of friend started playing foot ball in our school ground.
We are playing really well because of our coach Gopal sir, and had won in district level.
In 8th std ,For state level rural sports we went to Bellari.
we had played well and able reach till 2nd round and lost against Tumkur dist.

In 9th Std , rural sports state level held in Chitradurga , this time we improved more than last year and played at our best, but this time we are able to reach till quarter finals. finally we lost in semifinals against Bangalore rural.
but a good news for our team was, from our team 'Arun' had selected for national level and to represent karnataka team from Chamarajnagar dist.
After the tournament over we went to Chitradurga fort and then returned to gundlupet and started our football practice to perform well in upcoming years.

I am really thankful to my football coach Gopal sir,without him i can't realize our football team.

After this tournament, my friends are represented karnataka state and also played for different universities.
